Arafat Migdad Saad is Managing Director of Hybrid Contracting Limited, overseeing the company's technical direction, project planning, estimation, and project management. A civil engineer with more than two decades of experience across Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania, he specialises in contracts management, estimating, and cost control on highway and infrastructure projects.
Arafat's career includes the Korogwe–Mkumbara road rehabilitation for Strabag International, road upgrading assignments for China Railway 5th Group and Shengli Construction, and the Tatu City Dorman Coffee facility design-and-build. Across these projects he has led estimating, tendering, and on-site contract administration on highway and infrastructure works.
He is experienced in FIDIC, World Bank, EC, and ADB forms of contract, and holds an MSc in Construction Project Management from Loughborough University, a BSc in Civil Engineering from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, and is a Graduate Engineer with the Engineers Registration Board (Kenya) and a Graduate Member of the Institution of Engineers of Kenya (IEK).
